Chen Tianqin admired strength,  after this match, he would likely have nothing left to say regarding the coaching staff's decision. It was just a pity that such a monstrous Beast Master couldn't immediately join the team for training and matches.

She wondered how long it would take for her to become an A-rank Beast Master...

"I think she should send out a pet she's certain can win."

This meant she would send out Ice Emperor Ram.

"Contestant Chen Tianqin has lost two rounds in a row." Tang Xueran said. 

"The pressure on him for this match must be immense. However, all great Beast Masters face pressure. The key is how to withstand that pressure and perform at one's true level."

As they spoke, the numerical shadow on the field changed to 1 and then vanished. Qiao Sang and Chen Tianqin formed hand seals simultaneously. Two brilliant crimson star arrays lit up on the ground.

Sweet Poison King, a dual Poison and Grass-type King-level pet. It likes to attract targets with sweet poisonous gas to attack. It can also unexpectedly scatter pollen in various locations and then detonate it around the opponent at the perfect moment. 

It has the Overgrow trait, which increases the power of Grass-type skills when its health is low. It also has the Chlorophyll trait, which increases its speed in sunny weather... 

Information about the bipedal pet, covered in light green fur with a dark green crown of thorns, three fingers on each hand, and a purple flower in its right hand, flashed through Qiao Sang's mind.

"Plan Two." Chen Tianqin commanded the second his pet was summoned.

Plan Two... this command is clever. A pet that has pre-discussed plans can understand it, and even if the opponent hears it, they won't know what skill is being used... Qiao Sang was momentarily stunned, then felt a surge of admiration. 

However, such commands had drawbacks, only highly intelligent pets could quickly understand and react, and matches changed rapidly, plans weren't always applicable.

Hearing its Beast Master's command, Sweet Poison King's eyes glowed green. Simultaneously, the purple flower in its hand shook, and a large cloud of pollen drifted out. The white pollen was hidden among the falling snowflakes; even with the feedback, Qiao Sang couldn't track its trace.

A snowflake landed on top of Sweet Poison King's head. Instantly, an exquisite ice flower bloomed there. However, in the next second, a green barrier rose around it, enveloping the pet and blocking out the snow. 

Sweet Poison King reached up and grabbed the ice flower with its right hand. The translucent ice flower instantly turned purple, melted, and vanished.

Plan Two, Magic Powder plus Barrier... Chen Tianqin looked at the pet across from him, the one with eyes so deep they seemed to suck in souls,mwith a serious expression.

Ice Emperor Ram's Ice Field Domain was definitely the hardest point to break through. Although Sairunba also knew defensive barriers, its proficiency wasn't as high as Sweet Poison King's. 

Even if it had teleported directly to the side of Ice Emperor Ram to attack, it would have been instantly frozen by the domain and counterattacked. With Sairunba's defense, it would have certainly lost. If any of his pets had a hope of winning against Ice Emperor Ram, it was only Sweet Poison King.

But Ice Emperor Ram seems to have changed its skill casting method. I couldn't even tell when it cast the Ice Flower Seal...

"Domain." Qiao Sang commanded.

Although she couldn't see where the Sweet Poison King's powder had scattered or what kind of powder skill it was, it had a move called Magic Powder that could explode under control. It was better to freeze and destroy it early.

The explosions abruptly stopped. The sudden attack of the Magic Powder had not caused Lubao to interrupt her Ice Field Domain. The field was instantly plunged into a frozen state. Everything was encased in ice, and a thick layer of ice crust formed over the top of the green barrier.

Everything except Lubao and the Sweet Poison King inside its barrier was frozen.

"Sweet-Poison..."

Sweet Poison King looked at everything outside the barrier, narrowed its eyes, and gave the purple flower another gentle kiss.

There was no movement outside.

The Magic Powder can't blow through the ice that has frozen it... Chen Tianqin's heart sank as he quickly reached a conclusion. Sweet Poison King's Magic Powder had already reached the Ultimate level, allowing it to explode at will under control. This was why he chose to have it cast Magic Powder plus the barrier at the start.

He just hadn't expected that Ultimate level Magic Powder couldn't blow through that small amount of ice within the domain. It shouldn't be, Ice Emperor Ram's proficiency in Ice Field Domain should only be at the Entry level, while Magic Powder was at the Ultimate level. It was only breaking through a small layer of ice crust, not the entire domain. How could it not blow through?

Could it be that the proficiency of this Ice Field Domain isn't Entry level?

If that were the case, then the barrier... Thinking of this, Chen Tianqin suddenly had a bad feeling.

Sweet Poison King and the giant purple flower were frozen solid almost the instant the barrier broke. However, the giant purple flower began to leak venom, quickly staining the inside of the ice crust purple.

The ice crust began to thin at a rate visible to the naked eye.

The toxin can dissolve the ice crust... Chen Tianqin sighed in relief at the sight. It seemed that spending so much money on toxins for the purple flower to soak up and absorb had been worth it. 

He had researched the Ice Field Domain,  the target's physical movements would be frozen, but their will would not. Sweet Poison King could completely control the purple flower to continue attacking even while frozen.

With Sweet Poison King's defense, it should be able to withstand a few hits from Giant Ice Spikes.

Just as he was thinking, eleven massive ice spikes, like small mountains, suddenly appeared simultaneously, aimed at Sweet Poison King! At this point, the ice crust around the purple flower had not yet completely dissolved.

"Plan Seven!" Chen Tianqin's pupils shrank, but then his gaze sharpened, and he shouted loudly.

If this hit landed, Sweet Poison King's Overgrow trait would definitely be triggered. He had to seize the moment to take down Ice Emperor Ram!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!!

All the giant ice spikes smashed into Sweet Poison King at once. Deafening explosions rang out as massive chunks of ice fell, crushing down on Sweet Poison King and completely burying its figure.

The purple ice flower went silent for a moment; venom stopped flowing out.

"SWEET-POISON!!!"

A green light burst out, blasting away the mountain of piled ice. Sweet Poison King stood up from within, its entire body radiating a green glow. It let out a loud roar toward the sky.

Snowflakes fell into its mouth. Suddenly, exquisite ice flowers began to grow inside its mouth.

"Sweet Poison King has triggered the Overgrow trait!" Tian Yiwan saw the scene and smiled. 

"It looks like the effect of the Ice Flower Seal hasn't stopped."

Sweet Poison King was not panicked by the ice flowers growing in its mouth. It reached out its hand, which was glowing green, grabbed several of the ice flowers, and crushed them with a gentle squeeze. The ice flowers instantly shattered into ice crystals.
