Qiao Sang remained silent. After a few seconds, she turned her head with anticipation and asked,

"Teacher, have you decided who will go first?"

Immediately, Gerta and the others focused all their attention.

"Does anyone want to go first?" Magee asked in return.

"I do!"

"I want to!"

"Me too!"

Several voices sounded at the same time.

The group exchanged silent glances, none willing to back down.

Being the first meant a guaranteed spot in the battle, while the remaining two would have to rely on luck. No one wanted to come all this way for nothing.

Magee smiled slightly and said, "Since everyone wants to go, we'll follow our school's rule, priority goes to the most capable."

Most capable? Qiao Sang's eyes lit up at the words, and she straightened her back.

Just as she was about to boast about her glorious battle record, Magee continued, "Report your points. The one with the highest score will go first."

"???"

Qiao Sang’s expression froze instantly.

Wasn’t this rule a bit unfair for someone like her, who had just arrived as an exchange student?!

"I'm at 201." Pelleg spoke first.

Hulis followed, "I'm at 459."

Gerta smiled confidently.

"I'm at 523."

Mabel said a bit shyly, "116."

Wait a minute, their scores… aren’t actually higher than mine? Qiao Sang’s eyes gleamed as she realized something incredible.

"Qiao Sang, what about you?" Magee asked.

Qiao Sang coughed and said, "697."

Her previous 94 points, plus 500 for breaking through 30% brain power, another 100 from passing the D-rank Beast Tamer exam, and 3 points earned from Mabel, all added up to 697.

Everyone’s minds went blank.

An exchange student who had been at Sainan High School for less than a month had surpassed over two years of their efforts?!

Magee wasn’t surprised at all.

He had already checked their scores when selecting students for the friendly match.

Letting the strongest student go first was a given.

Otherwise, Qiao Sang, as an exchange student from Blue Star, wouldn’t have been chosen.

Amid the silence, Magee smiled.

"Since Qiao Sang has the highest points, she’ll go first."

Qiao Sang sincerely repented. She had been wrong, this rule was actually way too favorable for her!

Time passed slowly.

Qiao Sang observed that many of the competing pet beasts weren’t individually strong, but their teamwork produced unexpected results.

Like the current match.

The two teams had drastically different pet beasts in size.

One side had two massive beasts over two meters tall, both looking fierce. The other side had two tiny beasts, barely a few dozen centimeters tall, with adorably cute appearances.

At first glance, based on size and aura, the two-meter-tall pet beasts seemed destined to win.

But as soon as the match began, the two cute pet beasts used Charm at the same time. The massive beasts instantly became dazed and stopped attacking.

Seizing the opportunity, the cute pet beasts launched an assault.

Despite their low attack power, they remained dominant throughout the battle.

Qiao Sang frowned slightly.

She had encountered the Charm skill before in the National Campus Beast Mastering League. Back then, she had identified Mimi's Sprite gender and countered it with Lubao.

But in a team battle, that method wouldn’t work.

If one pet beast was male and the other female, any counter pick would still fall victim to Charm.

So this was the Charm strategy... Qiao Sang silently took note of the opponent's name.

Omar Ashur.

If nothing unexpected happened, he would likely be one of her future opponents.

After five minutes, the two-meter-tall beasts inevitably lost.

Both teams left the stage.

The large screen rolled, displaying the logos of two schools.

One was a blue shield-shaped emblem with a crown in the center. The other was a red circular emblem featuring the legendary pet beast, Lesemodo.

Then, the announcement rang out:

"Mank Academy, Sainan High School, please send your competitors to the stage."

At that moment, the audience erupted in cheers.

Under Magee’s signal, Qiao Sang stood up and walked onto the stage.

At the same time, she noticed a tall girl with silky golden hair leave her seat in the front row and step onto the stage.

From the Sainan High School seating area, Greta frowned.

"Lavina? She actually came too."

Pelleg, intrigued, commented, "One is the leading figure of Coordination Battles among her peers, while the other is a monster in Beast Tamer Duels. This matchup should be interesting."

Then, he turned and asked, "Hulis, who do you think will win?"

"In a 1v1, definitely Qiao Sang. She won the championship before becoming an exchange student." Hulis said, his gaze falling on the blonde girl.

"But in 2v2, it’s hard to say. Many people's team battle skills differ greatly from their solo battle skills."

"But Qiao Sang should have team battle experience, right?" Mabel argued.

"Didn’t the teacher pick students with team battle experience?"

Hulis chuckled.

"Qiao Sang skipped straight from freshman year. In just one semester, she spent most of her time in national-level competitions. Was she training her pet beasts for individual duels or team battles?"

"Remember, she’s the Beast Tamer Duel Champion, not the Beast Tamer Team Battle Champion."

"She spent over a month just traveling here, where would she have had time to train for team battles?"

"…That makes a lot of sense." Mabel admitted, unable to refute.

"So does that mean she has no team battle experience?" Greta frowned.

Just then, Magee smiled and asked, "You guys don’t know how many high-rank pet beasts Qiao Sang has, do you?"

What students could think of, teachers had already considered.

But when someone's strength reached a certain level, some rules could be overlooked.

"Three, maybe?" Hulis joked.

Magee simply smiled.

Hulis, initially laughing, froze at the teacher’s expression.

He swallowed nervously and cautiously asked again, "Wait… it’s actually three?!"

Same question. Different tone.

Magee replied, "You guessed right."

Silence fell.

Alva, who had been quietly listening, was utterly confused.

A freshman? Spent over a month traveling here? No team battle experience? Three high-rank pet beasts?

What were they even talking about?!

Meanwhile.

On stage.

Yabao leaped from Qiao Sang’s arms onto the battlefield.

Qiao Sang formed a seal gesture with both hands.

An orange-yellow star formation lit up beside Yabao.

Across from her, Lavina also formed a seal gesture but it was completely different from Qiao Sang’s.

Two green star formations appeared on the ground in front of her.
