"Even against the Flash and Thunder combo, the Ice Emperor Ram closed its eyes in time and used instinct to successfully close the gap and bring the Zip-Head Bird within the domain's range."

Tang Xueran added professionally: "At this distance, for the Zip-Head Bird to be frozen, the Ice Emperor Ram’s Ice Field Domain might have already reached the Ultimate level."

From the ground, the Zip-Head Bird looked to be over three hundred meters high, but that was vertical height. Accounting for the horizontal distance, the reach was at least a kilometer. In open air, maintaining a domain like that suggested the proficiency was far beyond the Entry level.

"Ultimate level super-tier skill..." The audience broke into a massive uproar.

On the field, Lubao stood atop a floating Gigantic Ice Spike, looking up at the frozen bird. A second later, the bird began to plummet. Following it was a mountain-sized Gigantic Ice Spike, crashing downward to finish the job.

.It seems this distance is the limit for freezing and creating normal spikes. Otherwise, a maximum-power spike would have ended it right there, Qiao Sang analyzed.

BOOM! The Zip-Head Bird slammed into the ground, shattering the ice shell around it. The mountain-sized spike crushed down on top of it. Lubao leaped down, closing the distance to maintain the freeze. As she fell, she channeled energy, manifesting another massive ice spike above the target.

Suddenly, blinding yellow electricity erupted from the bird, obliterating the cracked ice shell.

"Wild Charge!" Yu Zhenyi shouted.

"Zip!" The bird shot out like a streak of yellow lightning, charging at Lubao while she was still mid-air.

BANG! The massive ice spike hit empty ground.

Lubao emitted a visible chill, but the yellow lightning suddenly exploded with a light so intense it was impossible to look at. Everyone reflexively closed their eyes. Lubao, with her keen vision and proximity, was hit the hardest. Her internal energy flow stalled for a moment as she flinched.

BOOM!

In that split second of blindness, the bird slammed into her. Her Ice Armor shattered, and Lubao was sent flying hundreds of meters.

Too fast... Qiao Sang opened her eyes to see Lubao tumbling and felt her heart tighten. The Zip-Head Bird could pair any attack with a Flash to ensure it hit.

He didn't even give a command for Flash this time. I can't rely on his verbal cues anymore... Qiao Sang immediately shouted: "Full Armor!"

"Thunder!" Yu Zhenyi countered. He had intentionally omitted the Flash command. Commands aren't just for pets, they're for the opponent. By establishing a pattern earlier, he had lured Qiao Sang into a false sense of security, then struck when she wasn't ready.

"Zip!"

The bird didn't even take flight. A wild streak of yellow lightning shot from its body toward Lubao, accompanied by another blinding flash. The audience shielded their eyes again, frustrated at missing the action.

In the family section, Ye Xiangting reached into her bag and calmly put on a pair of black sunglasses.

The expected scream from Lubao never came. When the crowd looked again, Lubao had moved. She was now encased in an exquisite, crystalline suit of armor that looked like a work of art.

Full Armor Form. The helmet didn't just cover her head, it covered her entire face, including her eyes. This was an Ice Armor Form that could only be achieved at the Ultimate level of proficiency.

"Good grief! She hid the Ultimate level Ice Armor until this round!"

"With that helmet, the Flash won't stun her anymore. No wonder she dodged the Thunder attack."

The other contestants in the waiting area looked stunned. Everyone hides cards, but Qiao Sang revealed a new hidden trump card in almost every single match.

Yu Zhenyi didn't flinch. "Thunderstorm Weather!"

The bird spread its wings to ascend, flashing its light once more. 

Holy crap, again?! The audience cursed. They were missing all the best parts. But Ye Xiangting, behind her sunglasses, watched clearly.

The light faded. The bird was frozen solid mid-flight.

"This time, the Ice Emperor Ram successfully unleashed the Ice Field Domain!" Tian Yiwan shouted.

"Indeed, the Full Armor form effectively countered the Flash." Tang Xueran agreed. 

"But the Thunderstorm Weather is already active."

High above, the sky turned black. Violent yellow arcs of electricity danced in the clouds.

RUMBLE!

An ice mountain large enough to cover nearly the entire arena appeared out of thin air and plummeted. Lightning struck it repeatedly, shattering the top half into flying debris, but the sheer mass continued its descent.

CRASH!

The remaining two-thirds of the ice mountain slammed into the arena, causing the ground to cave in. The Zip-Head Bird vanished beneath it.

"Again!" Qiao Sang commanded.

"Lu Di." Lubao summoned another hundred-meter-wide ice mountain.

The bird had the Volt Absorb trait,if lightning hit it, it would recover rather than take damage. If the storm continued to break apart the ice and hit the bird, it might recover.

I have to knock it out before the lightning reaches it, Qiao Sang thought.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

One ice mountain after another crashed down, each slightly smaller than the last. Lightning struck Lubao repeatedly, cracking her armor, but it instantly regenerated through surging chills. Lubao stood her ground, her face hidden by the crystalline helm.

"Thunder Strike! Thunderbolt! Discharge!" Yu Zhenyi shouted desperately, but there was no response from beneath the ice mountains.

Finally, the thunder ceased. The clouds dispersed. The ice mountains began to melt. Deep in the crater, the Zip-Head Bird lay with its eyes closed, completely unconscious.

The referee observed the bird and waved the green flag toward Qiao Sang.

"Let us congratulate Qiao Sang for winning the first match!"

The crowd roared. In Section A, the youth cheering for Qiao Sang noticed his brother's dark expression and stammered, "Poor Brother Yu... if he hadn't run into Great Qiao, he'd definitely be in the Final Four."

His brother, the man with the ponytail, just stared at him. You'd be better off staying silent.

On the field, both trainers recalled their pets.

"Qiao Sang isn't keeping the Ice Emperor Ram out for the next round." Tian Yiwan noted. 

"What will they send next?"

The 10 countdown began.

"Obviously, it'll be Mimicry Master versus the Divine Blazing Lion."

"Aw, I wanted to see the Qinyin Fairy..."
