Little Treasure’s eyes glowed blue with Teleport. In the next second, Qiao Sang vanished from the spot.

"Xun xun!"

Immediately after, Little Treasure flashed back to the Examination Office, snatched his Beast master’s ID card and badge from the desk, and vanished again.

Mikayla turned and left. Guo Ruiqi, who hadn't been moved by the teleportation, finally snapped out of it. Hugging his Lele Seed, he bid a polite farewell: "Then we’ll be going too."

"Le le." The Lele Seed waved goodbye.

First floor of the Beast Master Center.

Nearly every window was busy with people processing business. Qiao Sang quickly grabbed a number and rushed to Window 02. After waiting about three seconds, her anxiety peaked. She stepped forward to the man currently at the window and said: "I am so sorry, I only have a few minutes left. Could you please let me go first?"

The man looked over, quite annoyed. 

"Everyone is in line. Who here isn't down to the last few minutes?"

I can't wait any longer, there’s no time... Qiao Sang turned to the air beside her and said, "Qingbao!"

"Qing qing~"

Understanding her Beast Master’s intent, Qingbao revealed herself and let out a sweet cry at the man, asking if her Beast Master could go first.

The man naturally couldn't understand the words, but that didn't stop him from recognizing the legendary pet, Breezewing Nini. His eyes widened as he jumped to his feet, confirming in disbelief: "B- Breezewing Nini?"

"Qing qing~"

Qingbao floated backward while beckoning him with a small toe. The man, looking utterly enchanted, stood up and followed her. Everyone else in the hall noticed the commotion. Upon seeing Qingbao, their expressions shifted to collective excitement. People stood up, abandoning their business.

"Breezewing Nini! It’s actually a Breezewing Nini!"

"Look! It's real!"

The hall was in an uproar. Qiao Sang seized the chance, stepped up to Window 02, and handed over her ID and badge. "I want to register for the Regional Championships!"

The staff member didn't speak, staring blankly in Qingbao's direction.

"Xun xun!"

Little Treasure teleported directly in front of the staff member, giving a piercing stare... The staff member jumped, snapped awake, and finally took the items to process the registration.

Five minutes later, she handed the items back with a respectful tone: "You are officially registered. The competition begins on September 1st. Detailed notifications will be sent to your phone. During the competition, medical care and accommodation at all Central Hollow Region centers will be free for you. We look forward to your brilliant performance."

"Thank you." Qiao Sang said. She cast a glance at the crowded center of the hall and then turned to leave. Receiving her Beast Master’s signal, Qingbao turned into wind and vanished. The crowd grew even louder, searching everywhere for a trace of the legendary pet.

On the other side, Qiao Sang spotted Xu Gehong and Guo Ruiqi and walked over.

"Registration done?" Mikayla asked.

"Yes, caught it in the last few minutes." Qiao Sang laughed with relief. Then she turned to Little Treasure. 

"Bring out that item."

"Xun xun~" Little Treasure knew which one she meant. He reached into his ring and pulled out a box.

Qiao Sang introduced it: "This tool is worn in the eyes, like a contact lens. It can lock onto the approximate location of pets using stealth-type moves, and you can see their outlines clearly. Since you have a Hidden Shield, I can demonstrate it for you." She looked at Little Treasure. 

"Little Treasure, put it on..."

Mikayla quickly interrupted, "No need, I believe you." 

She snatched the box from Little Treasure’s paw, terrified that if she were a second slower, the ghost would actually put it on.

Qiao Sang said sincerely, "I’m glad you were there this time. Otherwise, I’m not sure we would have made it out of the secret realm safely, let alone back before the deadline."

Mikayla waved it off. "If I hadn't asked for Molten Flame Seed, you wouldn't have gone back, and none of that would have happened."

As Qiao Sang prepared to say more, Mikayla added breezily, "Alright, I have to go. I've stayed in the secret realm too long. See you if fate allows."

Qiao Sang replied, "No need for fate; you can come watch me at the Regional Championships."

I’ll definitely be watching you every day at the championships... Mikayla stayed in character, saying simply, "If I have time, I will." With that, she turned to leave.

"Sleep!" The Sleep Bird quickly followed.

Guo Ruiqi, who had been quiet, finally said, "Goodbye, Senior Xu!"

"You should head home early too." Qiao Sang told him. 

"Your parents must be worried after all this time."

Guo Ruiqi turned back with a serious look. 

"Senior Qiao, I will definitely bring my whole family to watch your match!"

Qiao Sang paused. "Are there even tickets left?"

Guo Ruiqi froze, then said determinedly, "I’ll find a scalper!"

Qiao Sang: ...

Guo Ruiqi lifted his pet. 

"Big Happiness, say goodbye to Senior Qiao."

"Lele!" The Lele Seed let out a grateful cry. Based on its master’s attitude, it knew this human was the key to its rescue. Then, it bowed its head, and a drop of crystal-clear liquid seeped from the tip of its leaf.

Qiao Sang blinked and held out her hand. The droplet fell into her palm, merged with her skin, and vanished. Instantly, she felt a wave of inexplicable joy. The fatigue from the journey and the stress of the deadline evaporated. She felt incredibly lucky to have made it.

Soon, Guo Ruiqi left as well. Qiao Sang watched him go for a few seconds before the joy faded. She realized the Source of Happiness effect had worn off. She turned toward the lodging area and dialed Mikayla’s number.

The call connected. 

"Hello, you're finally out of the secret realm," Mikayla’s calm voice came through the speaker.

"The mission was tough, a lot happened." Qiao Sang said. 

"Luckily, I just registered in time. Teacher, where are you now?"

Mikayla already had her excuse ready. "I have some business outside. Go to your room,  I haven't checked out yet. I’ll be back shortly."

She hasn't checked out after all this time? Qiao Sang was surprised but agreed and hung up.

Lodging Area, Room 1129.

"Yap yap..."

As soon as he entered, Yabao rushed to the bathroom, jumped onto the vanity, and began admiring his handsome evolved form, the Blazing Divine Lion, from every angle.

"Qing qing."

Qingbao followed him in to look at herself in the mirror. Although she had evolved into a Breezewing Nini a while ago, she hadn't had a proper chance to look at her new self in the secret realm.

"Xun xun..."

Little Treasure peeked through the bathroom door, looking at his Big Bro and his future little brother with envy. Gangbao saw this and turned away, embarrassed. Lubao hopped onto the bed and closed her eyes with a comfortable expression. It felt like forever since she could rest peacefully.

Qiao Sang lay on the bed and opened her Beast Codex to Yabao's page.
