Cecilia took a letter, a pen, and a blue booklet bearing the emblem of the Imperial Beast University from her briefcase.
She signed her name in the lower right corner of the letter, then stood up and handed the letter and booklet to Qiao Sang, speaking seriously:
"This is an introduction to the Imperial Beast University. As for this letter, it confirms that you passed the interview. If you're willing to join the Imperial Beast University, sign your name on the letter and burn it. Your official admission notice will be delivered to you within a week."
"Once the letter is burned, an email confirming your acceptance will be sent to you within an hour. You can check it online."
Qiao Sang looked down at the letter and booklet, remaining motionless for a moment.
To be honest, she still had doubts about whether this was real.
If the person standing before her was from Yulianton University, she might believe it, since she had personally sent the recommendation letter to them.
But the Imperial Beast University had appeared out of nowhere, she had never had any prior contact with them…
It was like in her past life, struggling to get into Qingbei, only to suddenly have someone tell her that Harvard had taken notice of her, asked her a few casual questions, and then admitted her. It all felt too unreal.
Seeing that Qiao Sang hadn't immediately taken the letter, Cecilia assumed she was hesitating between the Imperial Beast University and Yulianton University. She added:
"As someone from Blue Star, attending the Imperial Beast University is your best choice. We're recognized as one of the top academies in the entire interstellar community. We have the best beast tamers, breeders, and coordinators, and we've contributed countless scientists, philosophers, and sociologists to the world."
"As for Yulianton University, while I acknowledge its excellence as a top-tier institution, it has consistently ranked below us in the interstellar rankings. Compared to Yulianton, the Imperial Beast University is clearly superior in every way."
"You still have six months as an exchange student on Chaosu Star. If you're interested in Yulianton University, after enrolling at the Imperial Beast University, we can arrange for you to study at Yulianton as an exchange student for the remaining six months."
"I doubt you'd want to stay on Chaosu Star forever, your family and friends are on Blue Star, aren't they?"
After speaking, Cecilia extended the letter and booklet toward Qiao Sang again.
Yulianton University… Uh, they haven’t even contacted me…
Qiao Sang remained silent for a moment before finally taking the letter and booklet.
Regardless of the situation, she had already attended the interview, and they hadn't asked anything unreasonable, she might as well take it first and think later.
Cecilia and Summer exchanged smiles.
Summer extended his hand with a smile:
"We look forward to having you at the Imperial Beast University."
Qiao Sang hesitated for a second before shaking her hand.

After the two left, Qiao Sang didn't head to the cafeteria at her usual time. Instead, she summoned Little Treasure and had him teleport her straight to her dorm.
Having spent so much time at Sainan High School, Little Treasure was already extremely familiar with the school's layout.
"Xun xun~"
Little Treasure's eyes glowed blue as he let out a soft call.
The next second, Qiao Sang was in her familiar room.
She put down Yabao and went straight to her computer.
"Xun xun?" Little Treasure looked at Yabao with a puzzled expression.
Did something happen?
"Yap yap."
Yabao waved his paw dismissively, indicating that it was nothing, just two humans talking to their beast tamer about some school admissions stuff.
Little Treasure immediately perked up.
He glanced at Qiao Sang, then scooted closer to Yabao and whispered in a very low voice:
"Xun xun?"
Do the university's beasts need to go to school?
"Yap."
Yabao shook his head disinterestedly. He had no idea.
As Yabao and Little Treasure chatted, Qiao Sang opened her laptop.
She quickly logged into her email and scrolled down. As expected, she saw an email from the Imperial Beast University.
Receiving an official email wasn't that surprising, hackers in her past life could forge official emails without even hacking into servers.
Now, with so many mechanical-type beasts possessing similar capabilities, it was even easier… Qiao Sang remained cautious.
Even though she saw the email immediately, she would have just assumed it was a scam and ignored it.
The real question was: Who had arranged for her recommendation letter?
If she could confirm that someone had actually gotten her a legitimate recommendation, then this whole thing might really be true…
Sure, schools verified identities, but just recently in 22nd District, a man had used a beast’s illusion skill to alter what security guards and teachers saw. He kidnapped a child right in front of them, and that child still hadn't been found.
Being directly approached by the Imperial Beast University for an interview was simply too absurd. If she hadn’t personally applied, or if she didn’t know for sure that someone had helped her submit a recommendation, she wouldn’t believe it.
Professor Wang Yanmao… Of the people she knew, who would have been able to contact that big shot?
This person was most likely on Blue Star and knew her personal details and email…
Qiao Sang carefully went over everyone she knew in her mind. Then, as if realizing something, she suddenly grabbed her phone, scrolled through her contacts, and dialed a number.
Professor Wang Yanmao was a leading figure in the research world. Among the people she knew, the most capable researcher was the vice principal.
To facilitate interstellar communication, she had even given him her email…
It was possible…
The thought that the two visitors might really be professors from the Imperial Beast University made Qiao Sang hear the rapid pounding of her own heartbeat.
The call connected, and a deep voice came from the speaker:
"Hello?"
Qiao Sang took a deep breath and asked, "Vice Principal, did you… by any chance help me get a recommendation letter for the Imperial Beast University?"
The moment she asked, she held her breath.
"How did you know?" The voice on the speaker sounded surprised.

Qiao Sang sat there in a daze, only one thought echoing in her mind:
It’s real. This is actually real.
"The people from the Imperial Beast University contacted you?!" The vice principal's voice snapped her back to reality.
Qiao Sang jolted awake, suppressing the overwhelming excitement surging through her.
"Today, two people claiming to be professors from the Imperial Beast University suddenly showed up at my school, saying they wanted to interview me. After I answered a few questions, they told me I passed and that I was accepted."
After speaking, another thought struck her, and she couldn’t help but laugh.
"I really thought they were scammers…"
The other end of the call went silent.
After about five or six seconds, Liu Yao finally spoke again, his voice slightly hoarse:
"You got accepted?"

if Qiao Sang is a genius in a million, and they never seen a general beast in high school tournament like tang yi then wtf is happening in that university

DeleteI mean its a plot hole but all things considered its a minor one. Compared to the fact that this is based on pokemon but there are a ton of regions with their own beasts and multiple planets as well as secret realms AND no limit on balance whatsoever(3+ elements, no limit on abilities and leveling skills)
DeleteThe tournament was in the country of the Dragon nation which is only a single country in the Blue Star planet. The tournament first phase was inside their province/region, then 2nd phase was between 4 province/region then the 3rd phase between the top something (I think 4 from memory) from the 2nd phase.
DeleteFor the university in chapter 622 Liu Yao said : "But the Imperial Beast University isn’t under our country’s jurisdiction… and we might not have the authority to write her a recommendation letter.” Which mean that the university is in another country not the Dragon Nation that Qiao Sang is from
It's like Harvard or MIT outside USA, *they have a branch/sister school in Blue Star, or just a branch where students can send in application.* Not like Harvard will bother with the top1 student of the entire nation of China. Just because you're top 1 of an entire Nation doesn't mean you'd instantly be getting love calls from top universities of other countries. The student themselves have to apply. Not the other way around.

Ok but that isnt 100% accurate. Usually in stories like these where the supernatural exists people have an eye out for extraordinary people. With the system the mc has and her very talented beasts plus the 2 new evolutions she found you cant compare her to some top 1 studend of some country. No she is basically exactly what a uni like this wants which is why it is somewhat weird no one bothered making some research for her. However you can just think like this: There are multiple countries and multiple planets. There is simply no way for a top 2 interstellar uni to look into the top students of each country EVERY YEAR. They most likely just missed her
DeleteYou're overestimating her achievements, 1 or 2 new species is indeed enough for the research community but even the boy scout who created his own nuclear reactors at 17 at his mother's backyard didn't even get to go harvard but instead attended a community college.
DeleteYou're overestimating her virtue due to the fact she's the MC which would inevitably point her to everything "good" but if we're to use a bit of logic here. A top 2. University missing a single student isn't really that much when Universities aren't for a singular person, If you're to be force to pick between 1 Einstein/Tesla or the Entire Batch of Novel Laureates as your "lineup" for school prestige. I'd choose the Nobel laureates
Also, it seem like the university are not scouting people, they will only consider people that applied. They probably already receive a ton of application and most genius will apply to top university because they are genius and they know it (and are sometime arrogant about it, like the officer during her space travel said). Unlike, Qiao Sang who always undervalue herself and she need other to push her.

Tang Yi who literally traveled with her only knew about it when she appeared in the same class as him. Because it is on another planet, nobody on Blue Star except the one involved in the skipping grade process probably even knows about it. Qiao Sang is not someone that brag about this stuff
Replying to anonym above a nice dude. I dont think we are overestimating her achievements. At least taking into account what we know thus far i dont think there many people in the history of the interstellar federation(or whatever the world is called idk) that have achieved what she has. And we as viewers need to take into accound that at her age she will in a few months at most get her beasts into general rank and probably the next rank too in a year or two. Also while what you said about having to pick between one or many only really applies to our world and to scientists. In this world where some people have a chance of going for the interstellar cup(something she is most likely eligible for even from the perspective of the characters in the novel) it is much more important to be the one university that gets to teach that person(id say something about china and "face" but it hasnt been talked about in this novel so it probably is only the healty amount of wanting to have a good represenative). Anyways taking into account the potential she has shown if one actually knows that she isnt from some wealthy and powerful family then she is worth nurturing for a top uni even more than some team of very talented people who could maybe become top 10000 in the rankings at best

DeleteFrom my understanding I thought it was just the country she was in that never got first, not the world she was in? Kinda like a regional pageant, think Ms USA but on the state level, eg her state never got first. But the second place university tier ranking is more like... The Ms Universe, where her world is ranked second. I don't think story ever claimed her world was poorly rated in the interstellar battles
DeleteI'm not gonna comment on all the points, since I binged a ton of this, but from my understanding she mentioned the Imperial university when she was prepping for the tournament. She also mentioned since it's the 2nd ranked university in the interstellar world (between all planets) she had no chance, which was why she focused on the Dragon Nation ones that would have been paying attention to the tournament in Dragon Nation.
