The taxi drove toward the outskirts of the city.
After thirty minutes, it stopped at a lakeside location.
Qiao Sang paid the fare and walked toward the crescent-shaped building on the right.
Qinglu Courtyard, the name of the community sounded quaint and traditional, but inside, it was a futuristic villa district. The crescent-shaped sales center immediately conveyed the unique aesthetic of the neighborhood.
The housing project had been open for six months, yet units remained unsold.
It wasn’t due to quality issues but competition. At the time of the launch, another similarly priced villa community opened in the city center.
When it comes to real estate, location is everything. While Qinglu Courtyard boasted larger villas, its suburban location deterred buyers compared to the city-center option. Those who prioritized resale value naturally chose the latter.
In Hanggang City, the wealthy villa-buying demographic was limited, leaving Qinglu Courtyard with several unsold units.

Inside the Sales Center
Qiao Sang registered her information and was soon approached by a stylish staff member with a chestnut-colored haircut.
“Miss, did you have a specific consultant appointment?”
“No.” Qiao Sang replied.
The staff glanced toward the entrance and asked, “Are you here alone?”
“Yes.” Qiao Sang nodded.
“Then let me assist you. Please, follow me.” The staff member said enthusiastically.
He didn’t seem fazed by the young girl’s age or the lack of an accompanying adult.
Ordinary families wouldn’t set foot in such a place.
Though the girl’s attire wasn’t branded, it didn’t matter. Clothes can deceive, but the contracted beasts she had couldn’t.
One of her beasts, a Treasure-Seeking Demon, had evolved from a Treasure- Seeking Ghost. Contracting such a creature cost tens of thousands, a sure sign of affluence.
As for the other red-and-white beast, though unidentifiable, its luxurious fur and noble aura screamed expensive.
---
The staff led her to an electronic model of the community.
“Qiaoli.”
A Qiaoli Fruit, sporting a black bowtie, approached with a tray holding three glasses of water.
“Thank you.” Qiao Sang said, then gestured to her beast.
“Yabao.”
“Yap!”
Understanding his master’s intention, Yabao’s eyes glowed blue behind his sunglasses, lifting the glasses off the tray with psychic power. The glasses floated to Qiao Sang, Little Treasure, and himself.
---
The staff began the introduction, showcasing a 3D hologram of the community.
“Our villas feature 360-degree lake views, large terraces, and customizable designs. We have 62 unique, standalone units ranging from 350 to 1,000 square meters.”
Yabao’s eyes widened in amazement, while Little Treasure drifted closer, intrigued by the holographic display.
“We currently have four available units: 16, 17, 28, and 53.” The staff explained, pulling up specific villa models on the hologram.
“Villa 16 offers 566 square meters of living space, a garden over 1,100 square meters, a private pool, a garage, and a fully furnished interior. Its elevated location provides excellent privacy.”
“Villa 17 is larger, with 874 square meters of living space and a garden spanning nearly 2,000 square meters. It comes with premium furnishings valued at over 10 million yuan, dual pools, and extensive landscaping.”
---
Qiao Sang interrupted, “How far apart are Villas 16 and 17?”
The staff reassured her, “Each villa sits on roughly 4,000 square meters of land, ensuring complete privacy.”
That much space would prevent her beasts from disturbing the neighbors during training.
“Can I see them in person?” Qiao Sang asked.
“Yes, but we’ll need to verify financial proof first. Would you like to see both units or focus on one?”
“Both.” Qiao Sang said, pulling out a black titanium card.
“Will this suffice as proof?”
The staff nearly dropped his professional demeanor. Recognizing the prestigious Federal Dingshi Bank card, he quickly said, “Please wait a moment.”
---
After ten minutes, he returned, visibly more respectful.
“Which villa would you like to see first?”
---
Qiao Sang toured both Villa 16 and Villa 17, finding them both to her liking.
Villa 16’s design featured a sleek stainless steel and glass rooftop that appeared to float.
Villa 17 had a futuristic façade with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that softened its minimalist aesthetic with natural light and greenery.
The interiors of both were fully furnished and move-in ready.
---
Seeing her hesitation, the staff quickly offered, “Would you like to see Villas 28 and 53 for comparison?”
“No need.” Qiao Sang replied.
“I’ll take both Villas 16 and 17.”
The staff froze for a moment before realizing what she said.
“Both?!”
“Yes.” Qiao Sang confirmed.
With an unlimited credit card, she didn’t have to choose. Why not live in one and keep the other as a backup?
---
The purchase process went smoothly.
Villa 16 cost 33.89 million yuan, while Villa 17 was 55.06 million yuan. Since Qiao Sang paid in full, there was no need for her mother to be present for loan-related paperwork.
Thirty minutes later, the staff’s smile was almost too wide.
“Our villas are ready for immediate occupancy. Once the property certificates are prepared, I’ll personally deliver them to you.”
“Alright.” Qiao Sang replied.
---
As she left, the Qiaoli Fruit brought over a celebratory drink for the staff member.
The staff hugged the Qiaoli Fruit excitedly.
“We can finally afford that top-tier evolution stone!”
“Qiaoli!”
The fruit trembled, steadying the cup in its hands, its excitement mirroring its master’s.

The way it keeps mentioning the prices of all this stuff she is purchasing probably means this unlimited spending card isn't so unlimited. Surely even lotto prizes have to have limits
ReplyDeleteYeah, I kept on getting anxious as I fear a clause like it being valid for the year and at the end of the year you have to pay it back.
DeleteThe interaction with the pets of the supporting characters is truly heartwarming
