Several Flashbones shot right through Huo Yin’s arms and shoulders, spraying blood into the air, but he gritted his teeth and endured it without making a sound.

The more dangerous the situation, the less one could afford to panic; crossing a Flashbone swarm was the ultimate test of psychological fortitude, and only by letting down one's guard could one pass through safely.

However, Whistle and his companions lacked Huo Yin’s experience and resolve, clinging to the cliff face while trembling in terror. Just as they were about to be shot into sieves by the raging Flashbones, a powerful gust of wind suddenly roared up from the bottom of the ravine.

The Flashbone swarm immediately altered their course, soaring upward along the air current.

A sound like a swirling whirlwind erupted as they shot toward the top of the canyon with a series of sharp swishes, so dense they blotted out the sky and sun. The onlookers waiting at the rim gasped in horror, scattering frantically to find cover.

The dizzying soundwaves pierced straight through their eardrums, creating an unbearable sensory torture.

Gales of wind whipped past Huo Yin’s scalp, tearing at his clothes and skin to leave behind trails of bloody cuts. Yet compared to being shot clean through, this degree of pain was hardly worth mentioning.

He let out a breath of relief and instinctively raised his head, only for his pupils to shrink to pinpoint size in the next second.

At the top of the ravine, a human figure was lying by the edge of a rock with her head poked out. Her long hair fluttered wildly in the gusty wind whipped up by the Flashbones, while countless Flashbones passed through the sky like a rain of arrows.

Huo Yin’s breath hitched, an unexpected pang of anxiety surging into his heart. He could remain completely unfazed while standing alone amid a swarm of Flashbones, yet seeing this sight made him lose his composure.

This silly girl! Why didn't she quickly find a place to hide? What is she doing standing up there like a statue waiting for her husband?!

Within moments, however, the storm in his eyes settled back down into calm. Thousands of Flashbones flew right past her, yet not a single one harmed her. There wasn't a trace of panic on her face, she acted as though those Flashbones, which could shoot her into a bloody pulp at any moment, didn't even exist.

The flashing shadows across the sky reflected as streaks of light in her eyes, while she simply gazed down at him in silence.

Men who had been through hundreds of battles could not maintain their composure while dancing with the Grim Reaper, yet this delicate girl had done it seamlessly.

Huo Yin instantly forgot the danger surrounding him, climbing toward her step by step. The noisy clamor gradually faded away; his mind unknowingly entered a profound, mystical state, feeling as though his body had merged as one with the environment. Elemental power flowed within him naturally, creating its own domain.

The Flashbones around him couldn't help but pause, crawling and slithering over his body with docile gentleness.

He didn't even notice that wherever his left hand touched, patches of tender green grass sprouted with vibrant life.

💬...Why do I feel like I'm being stuffed with a mouthfulness of dog food?

💬One second it was a nerve-wracking scene that made my scalp go numb, and the next second it turned into a life-or-death romantic flex on single dogs.

💬As expected of the Big Boss's woman, her aura is just as formidable as his.

💬I believe in love again.

Dozens of Flashbones landed on Yuan Chu, playing as if no one else were around. Their semi-transparent little bodies flickered and sparkled like sequins.

Yuan Chu looked as if she were immersed in the Milky Way, her fluttering hair casting off trails of starlight.

Huo Yin watched her with undivided focus, yet his movements remained unhurried and perfectly rhythmic.

Below him, Whistle and the others seemed to be affected as well. Suppressing their terror, they followed closely behind Huo Yin, climbing upward as fast as they could. They planned to take advantage of the Flashbones chasing the strong gust of wind to scramble to the top of the ravine in one breathless push.

Huo Yin reached the rim first. Leaping cleanly back into his wheelchair, he pulled Yuan Chu onto his lap and held her in his arms, letting the Flashbones surround them as if he had fully mastered the secret to coexisting with them peacefully.

Whistle and his group were surprisingly lucky as well. Aside from accidentally being pierced with a few bloody holes, they suffered no lethal injuries.

Under the aura of the Child of Luck, they escaped the Flashbones' territory without further incident, shuffling little by little over to a safe area. Unlike Huo Yin and Yuan Chu, they certainly couldn't stroll through a swarm of Flashbones with effortless ease.

When the strong wind at the bottom of the ravine subsided, the Flashbone swarm quickly flew back down, and the canyon finally restored its tranquility.

Feng Chenxiu helped heal the others one by one. But when it came to Huo Yin, he discovered that his wounds had already stopped bleeding and scabbed over on their own.

Feng Chenxiu looked on in disbelief, his eyes staring at Huo Yin as if gazing upon a prehistoric monster. Wounds that pierced straight through the body had healed up in just a few short minutes, was he even human?

"Chuchu, where are you hurt? Let me heal you." The shaken Feng Chenxiu turned to Yuan Chu.

"No need, I'm not hurt." Yuan Chu stood beside Huo Yin clean and spotless, far from being injured, not even the corner of her clothes was torn.

Feng Chenxiu: !

That swarm of Flashbones earlier must have been fake!

"Thank you, Big Boss Huo." Whistle walked over with the other two survivors to express their gratitude. One person had been terribly unfortunate, he lost his composure while crossing the Flashbone swarm and was shot to death.

Huo Yin noticed he recognized one of them, Jiang Pengfei, the chubby guy who had sold them the hovercar not long ago, an expert in machinery manufacturing.

"I didn't expect it to be you guys. Thank you for saving me." Little fat Jiang Pengfei said dispiritedly.

"No need to thank us. The ones who really saved you were yourselves." Huo Yin's main objective had been to verify his friend's theory and collect Flashbone eggs, saving people was merely a byproduct.

The video of him crossing through thousands of Flashbones barehanded created a massive sensation on SkyNet, revealing a brand-new way to deal with Flashbones to many Evolvers. However, not everyone possessed the courage to actually try it.

"Is your live stream off?" Huo Yin asked suddenly.

"N-No." Whistle pulled his handheld device out of his pocket and retrieved the camera drone.

Huo Yin looked into the camera and said, "Before I went down, I think I saw quite a few people making grand vows."

Live-stream Audience: !!! MMP, almost forgot about that!

Their previous boasts like "If you succeed, I'll sell myself to you at a bargain price," "I'll provide free clothing for your whole team for three years," and "I'll assassinate my own boss" were still scrolling frantically through the bullet screen. Setting up flags like that was practically digging their own graves!

Ignoring the groans of the crowd, Huo Yin had his companions bring over Sabu, who was tied up like a dumpling. He warned the other Evolvers that a team was lurking in the shadows harboring malicious intent, as for whether the other Evolvers believed it or not, that was none of his concern.

Having endured two battles, Huo Yin and his group were quite exhausted. After consulting with the others, they found a safe spot to set up camp.

After freshening up in the bathroom, Huo Yin stared at his stubble-covered face in the mirror for a while. Taking out a small blade, he walked over to Yuan Chu and said, "Xiao Chu, help me shave my beard."

Yuan Chu took the blade, used a warm towel to compress his face, applied shaving cream across his skin, and shaved it off layer by layer from left to right, following the direction of hair growth.

The two were very close, close enough to hear each other's breathing.

Huo Yin closed his eyes, relaxing his entire body with his head slightly tilted up, revealing a long neck and an prominent Adam's apple.

Once the beard covering half his face was completely gone, his chin looked smooth and refreshed. His deeply defined, handsome face was revealed to Yuan Chu without reservation. Straight, thick black eyebrows, eyes slightly turned up at the corners, and deep, boundless eyes that carried a hint of uninhibited freedom amidst maturity.

Yuan Chu didn't have much appreciation for beauty or ugliness, but this man who shared her providence was the person closest to her in this world.

"Did my appearance disappoint you?" Huo Yin asked.

"No." To Yuan Chu, even if the Child of Luck were Peppa Pig, she wouldn't be disappointed.

Huo Yin's eyes crinkled with a smile as he wrapped his arms around her waist, feeling an incomparable sense of joy.

After lingering intimately for a moment, Huo Yin let go of Yuan Chu and retrieved an item from the cabinet, reverently pinning it onto the left side of his chest.

It was a team emblem, an intricate design of interwoven flowers, fruits, and leaves edged in purple gold. It represented Huo Yin's team: Huagu Team.

With his strength recovering and improving, Huo Yin decided to re-establish Huagu Team and officially declare war on Ji Ming.

Huagu Team was a veteran team with ten years of history. Although Huo Yin was the captain, he hadn't liked showing off in the past, preferring to keep his head down, defeat monsters, level up, and nurture Ji Ming, which was why his personal reputation wasn't widespread. This time, however, he didn't plan to lay low any longer.

"I am the captain of Huagu Team. Xiao Chu, are you willing to join my team?" Huo Yin asked with a serious expression.

Yuan Chu didn't speak. She simply raised her hand slowly and placed it over the left side of his chest. In the next moment, threads floated and interwove, automatically forming a Huagu Team emblem pattern directly onto her clothing.

She answered Huo Yin with her actions: I am.

The gaze Huo Yin directed at her was sweet enough to drown in, the joy and fulfillment in his heart beyond words.

Just as he planned to deepen their affection further, Feng Chenxiu rushed into the vehicle in a flurry, shouting excitedly, "That bastard finally spilled his guts!"

Huo Yin stared at him expressionlessly: ...

Feng Chenxiu didn't notice his face and blurted out on his own, "That Sabu guy, he says he comes from team 'Pantheon'!"

Huo Yin's eyes darkened: "Is that so?"

Yuan Chu raised her eyes, remaining silent.

"Heh heh, now team Pantheon is in deep trouble." Feng Chenxiu said indignantly.

"Word is that quite a few Evolvers have died at their hands. That Jiang Pengfei's team got it the worst, looks like they were completely wiped out, leaving him as the sole survivor."

"I'll go take a look." Huo Yin had Yuan Chu push him out of the vehicle.

He was used to sitting in a wheelchair and was too lazy to walk, besides, this wheelchair had been made for him by Xiao Chu's own hands.

The others were gathered outside, eating, drinking, and tormenting Sabu. Seeing Huo Yin arrive, they greeted him one after another.

"To think it was actually team Pantheon! How despicable!" Whistle was beside himself with rage. His team, Dawn's Wind, had lost four or five members this time, with several others still unaccounted for.

Little fat Jiang Pengfei huddled off to the side, feeling low and bewildered. Having lost his team, he had no idea where to go from here.

Inadvertently raising his head, he caught sight of the emblem pinned on Huo Yin's chest. His pupils shrank, was that... Huagu Team???

As an established veteran team, Huagu Team enjoyed a legendary reputation on Creation Star. Unlike other teams that constantly sought attention online, their formidable power existed mostly in rumors. The exact number of members was unknown, but their strength was easily enough to rank among the global top ten.

Jiang Pengfei's eyes burned bright, his heart accelerating. Suddenly, he found new hope for the future, and that was to join Huagu Team!
